Saving Money or Just Needing another Copier Sooner?

If you are trying to save money on a copier, one of the most common methods people use is to buy a used copier.  This often makes good sense, sometimes it doesn’t.  If you are an office that needs 11 X 17 capability on your copier and perfect quality is not an issue, a used copier may be perfect for you.

If you do letter/legal copies, however, there are a lot of the new copiers these days that are even cheaper than the used copiers and will have a longer product life.  For example the Xerox Phaser 3635MFP.  This copier is 35 pages a minute and we have many clients using it to do more than 5,000 copies per month.  The copier itself is under $1,600.
